RUSSIANS SENTENCED IN TURKEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) ANKARA, June 18. Two Russians, Gorgi Pavlov and Leondid Kornilov, charged with complicity in the attempt on the life of the German Ambassador to Turkey, Herr von Papen, on February 24, were sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment. Two Turks were sentenced to 10 years. All have the right of appeal. Kornilov was described during the trial as a transport counsellor to the Soviet commercial delegation to Istanbul.
