The six Indian nations of the Iroquois Confederacy have declared war on the Axis. Onondaga, the chieftain, told the Vice-President, Mr H. A. Wallace, in a colourful ceremony on the Capitol steps: “Although the Indians may have had differences with their Paleface brothers in the past, that is all over. Let us be united now and win the war together.”
