ATTACK ON NAPLES

Middle East communique states: “Enemy armoured and supply columns in the battle area m Cyrenaica were subjected to continuous heavy attacks by our fighters and bombers yesterday, numerous enemy vehicles being destroyed or damaged and three Messerschmitt 109 s were shot down. The landing grounds at Martuba, Derna and Benghazi were again raided on Friday night ana on the same night our bombers raided the harbour and shipping of Naples. “Four enemy planes were shot down at Malta by our fighters. . . “Three of our planes are missing from these operations.”
