LIGHT NAVAL FORCES
ACTION OFF THE BELGIAN COAST GERMAN TORPEDO-BOAT PROBABLY SUNK. ALL BRITISH SHIPS RETURN SAFELY. LONDON, June 7. British light naval forces were in action off the Belgian coast early this morning with a much stronger German naval force, which included two modern 600 ton torpedoboats. One was almost certainly sunk when it was hit by one of our torpedoes. All our ships returned to their base. One of our light aircraft was damaged, two of the crew being killed.
