COMPLIMENTED BY CHIEF OF BOMBER COMMAND. (Special to Press Association.) (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. Air Marshal A. T. Harris, Comman- , der-in-Chief of the Bomber ComImand has complimented Wing ComI mander Trevor Freeman, D. 5.0., D.F.C., of Dunedin, and Pilot Officer Allan George, D.F.M., of Hawera, also an English pilot, for the excellent photographs they secured when they bombed the Heinkel works at Warnemunde. Wing Commander Freeman has completed a second tour of the scene of operations and is now posted as a group training instructor. Pilot Officer George has completed 33 operations and is now posted* as a flying instructor. Before he ended his operations Pilot Officer George was accompanied by Group Captain Andrew McKee, D.F.C., A.F.C., of Canterbury, and during a recent raid on Hamburg, Group Captain McKee was acting as second pilot.
