ROTOTAWAI LINKS OFFICIALLY OPENED FOR SEASON (“Times-Age” Special.) The Rototawai golf links were officially opened on Saturday, there being a good attendance of players. The Bidwill Memorial Cup was won by Miss J. Collins, with a nett score of 71. Mrs Elbe was runner-up with a score of 72. The best of the other cards handed in were: D. C. Collins 74, W. J. Pope 84, Mrs Pope 85. The first round of the Victoria Cup will be played next - Saturday. Red Cross Society. There was a good attendance at the euchre party held by the Red Cross Society yesterday afternoon. Mrs Nielson was the winner at cards. Competitions were won by Mrs J. W. Holland and Miss Gibb. Donations were received from Mesdames Lawson and N. C. C. Shepherd. Personal Items. Misses O. Nix, M. Dempster and E.
