INDOOR BASKETBALL
LOCAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. GAMES FOR WEDNESDAY. This week’s indoor basketball games will bring to a close the first round of the ladies’ A grade, and the game between Lancers and W.F.C.A. will be watched with interest.. Lancers have not been beaten this season. The following is the draw and the times for the various games to be played in the Town Hall on Wednesday, commencing at 7.0 p.m.:—7 p.m., Vesta v State Kitchenette B; 7.20, Cathies v Sparklets; 7.35, Rangers v W.F.C.A., 7.50, C. Smiths v Codys; 8.10, sth A.S.C. v Interhouse; 8.30, Woolworths v Garages; 8.45, McDuffs v Rangers; 9.0, Lancers v W.F.C.A.. 9.15, State v United; 9.30, Banks v Post and Telegraph; 9.45, Solway v Air Force. Cathies, State Kitchenette A, McKenzies and Ruahine have byes this week.
