P. & T. DANCE

LARGE ATTENDANCE LAST NIGHT. The dance held in the Municipal Hall last night by the P. and T. Social Club attracted a large attendance of the public, including a good representation of the men of the fighting services. Under the direction of Messrs H. T. Pratt and W. L. Butler, dances followed in quick succession. Barnes’s Orchestra provided the music. The supper arrangements were under the control of a capable ladies’ committee. The winners of competitions were: Lucky spot, Miss J. Urwin and Mr J. A. Handcock; Monte Carlo, Miss Noela Yates and Sergt.-Major Leatherhead.
