DOMINION SOLDIERS
* SICK AND WOUNDED RETURN FROM OVERSEAS. MASTERTON SAPPER INCLUDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 31. A party of about 40 sick and wounded soldiers of the Second N.Z.E.F., Pacific section, returned to New Zealand recently. Most' of those not resident in Auckland left'for their homes on Saturday. Lieutenant-Col-onel G. H. Tomline, Wellington, and Major F. G. Barrowclough, Waihi, also returned on duty. Men who returned were: —Driver V. E. Comer, Trooper P. A. Farley, Gunner H. V. Jonkers, Sergeant E. M. Mclnnes, Privates N. A. Newcombe and G. E. Wiggins (Auckland); Privates A. R. L. Swan (Panmure); V. A. Bebbington , (Papakura); H. I. Tapp (Whangarei); Trooper A. J. Elliott (Waharoa); Sergeant' A. J. Perrett, Gunner L. H. J. Salmons (Hamilton); Privates A. A. Mowat (Cambridge); C. R. Tong (Tauranga); G. L. Michalick (Te Kuiti); A. McMillan (Rotorua) and S. Saunders (Gisborne); Chaplain-Major H. H. Jeffreys (Hawke’s Bay); Lieutenant J. P. Hogan, Private E. W. Berrihill, Lance-Corporal L. W. H. Mcßandall, Private D. R. L. Strong (Wellington); Private J. Brooky (Mataroa); Gunner O. E. Lennon (Kaponga); Private E. J. Marshall, Gunner D. W. Spring (Palmerston North); Private D. Reid (Paekakariki); Sapper R. Wilson (Masterton); Private P. R. Southee (Shannon); Trooper M. L. Pryce and Private G. A. Taylor (Hastings); Privates W. H, Crossen and A. J. N. De Roo (Christchurch); >E. J. Davis (Marlborough); N. S. O’Sullivan (Blenheim); L. W. Vickers (Kaitangata); Gunner A. McLean (Temuka); Privates S. W. Cooper (Oamaru) and N. Karnback (West Coast). Also included in the party were Bombardier F. P. Coates, Queensland, Australia, and Private S. M. Nelson, London, England.
