The attention of all women in the Wairarapa is drawn to a meeting to be held in the Social Hall, Municipal Buildings on Wednesday at 2.15 p.m. The Rev. John Davie will be the speaker, and the chair will be taken by the Mayor. This meeting follows a number of meetings held throughout New Zealand to protest against excessive liquor drinking and to urge stricter enforcement of the licensing laws. A meeting at Hamilton was attended by 1200 women, and the resolutions passed there will be placed before the Master ton meeting for en dorsemem.
