The following New Zealand air personnel serving overseas have been reported as casualties:— BUTCHER, Stanley H., Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations, Wellington. FALLS. John R.. P/0., R.N.Z.A.F., prisoner of war. Napier. FRASER, Myles F. G„ F/Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations, Auckland. LOCKHART, Douglas W., P/0., R.N.Z.A.F., suffering from head injuries and shock result aircraft accident, Green Island. RUSSELL, Leslie P„ F/Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F.. missing on air operations, Marton. SMITH, Albert 1., F/Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations, Auckland. WELLS, Alan R., P/0., R.N.Z.A.F., missing ’ on air operations, Upper Hutt. NAVAL CASUALTIES *' The following naval casualties were announced last night HUTCHINS, Terence A. T., Acting Petty Officer, died following operation, Auckland. ALLAN, Raymond K., Ty. Sub. Lieut. (A), R.N.Z.N.V.R., serious burns as result of flying accident, Wellington. MEIKLEJOHN, Arnott R., Ty. Sub. Lieut. (A) R.N.Z.N.V.R., life lost on active service, Ruakaka, North Auckland.
