Weather cold and changeable, with occasional showers. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Wind becoming north-easterly, with some improvement. , LOCAL REPORT. Mr N. W. Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.52. Shade temperature: Maximum 46.9, minimum 39.9, terrestrial 38.4. Sunshine, 1 hour 54 minutes: Rain, 32 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 24 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. Full moon, May 30. Draw blinds at 5.35 p.m. today; raise them at 7.3 a.m. tomorrow.
