STARTED AT ENEMY BASES IN LIBYA. MANY ROYAL AIR FORCE RAIDS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day 11.50 a.m.) RUGBY, May 26. A R.A.F. Middle East communique states: “Objectives at Martuba, Benghazi and Tmimi were raided by our aircraft on Sunday night At Martuba, where enemy landing grounds were bombed, violent explosions were caused and fires broke out which were visible seventy miles away. An enemy aerodrome at Derna was attacked and a German dive-bomber was shot down in the Western Desert on the same night. At Tmimi, the aerodrome was bombed, while fighters were active in the forward area on Monday.
