KIATERE HARRIERS

OPENING OF THE SEASON SATURDAY . The Kiatere Harrier Club is the only one of its kind in the Wairarapa able to carry on its activities again this year, though not on the same scale as in former years on account of most of its senior members serving with the forces. It is noteworth.- that every runner in the Kiatere Club called up for military duty has passed as lit for service. A .special invitation is extended to youths to join the club and make themselves physically fit by following a good, clean, healthy sport. An effort is being made to got leave yf absence for Saturday afternoons for all harriers serving with the forces. A hearty welcome will be extended to all old and new harriers at the opening of the Kiatere Club s season at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms on Saturday at 3.0 p.m. Free club facilities are offered to men serving with the forces.
