On a snowy Sunday morning recently it was decided that it would be impossible for the Smith family to worship with the Presbyterians, as they usually did, the church being nearly a mile dis, tant and the roads almost blocked up They therefore set out for the Congregational church, which was only just round the corner. When they arrived in the vestibule of that building the smallest Smith girl was heard to whisper anxiously, “Mother, are we registered here?”—“Manchester Guardian.”
