CARTERTON SALE LATE VALUES MAINTAINED. Wright, Stephenson and ’ M., report: A small yarding of sheep and' a good yarding of cattle and pigs came forward at the Carterton sale yesterday. Sheep sold well and cattle and pigs sold on a par with late rates. Realisations were as follow:— Sheep.—Fat b.f. lambs 24s to 265, fat w.f. lambs to 25s 9d, woolly wether lambs to 19s. small ewe lambs to 14s, I.m. ewes r.w. S.D. ram to 15s 6d. Cattle..—Jersey heifers on drop £lO to £l2, Jersey heifers just calved £6 to £7, Jersey cow on drop to £8 15s, fat cows £5, £5 ss, £5 10s, £5 16s, £6 2s 6d, £7 to £8 2s, forward cows £3 18s, £3 19s, £4, £4 7s 6d, to £4 Ils, store cows £2 Ils, £2 17s 6d, £3, £3 4s, £3 7s to £3 10s, fat heifers £4 10s to £5 ss, weaner Jersey heifers £3 10s. £3 12s 6d to £4 Bs, bulls 15s to 17s 6d, cows and calves to £3.
