The death occurred at Tiri Hospital, Martinborough, on Friday, of Mrs Eliza Ann Moore, Avife of the late Mr Walter Frank Moore, at the age of 75 years. Mr and Mrs F. B. Blundell and family, of Tataraimaka, Taranaki, are on a visit to Mrs Blundell’s parents, Mr and Mrs S. J. Gill, Cole Street, Masterton. The death occurred in the Auckland Hospital on Thursday night of a ship’s radio operator, Mr John D. DigAveed, Avho Avas admitted on Wednesday afternoon in a critical condition. He was suffering from severe concussion following a fall from a gangway on to a Avharf. Their Excellencies the GovernorGeneral and Lady Newall, attended by Captain H. G. Helmore, returned to Wellington from the north yesterday and have resumed residence at Gov/ eminent House. Subsequently his Excellency received the Rt. Hon. the Prime Minister.
