KNOX LADIES’ GUILD

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Knox Ladies’ Social Guild was held at the residence of Mrs W. A. Burling, Lansdowne, the Rt Rev J. Davie presiding over a large attendance. Apologies were received from Mesdames Ratcliffe, M. McGregor, Traynor, Heyder, Kerry, McKenzie, Montgomery and Miss Tankersley. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mrs Falloon in the loss of her sister, ' l ' l ■ ’ Members were entertained at afternoon tea by Mrs Madden and Miss Burling. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Burling for the use of her home and to the hostesses of the afternoon. A “bring and buy” for the chaplain fund was held.
