MAGISTRATE’S COURT SITTING. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following undefende civil cases heard before Mr H. P. Simpson, £8 3s lid, costs £1 14s 6d; Archibald Keir v John Russell Physick, £l4 14s Bd, costs £2 5s and possession of tenement forthwith. In a judgment summons case, Brown Mitchinsen Co., Ltd. v W. M. Thomas, £2 12s 3d, there was no appearance of defendant, who was ordered to pay the amount claimed forthwith, in default three days’ imprisonment.
