HOME GUARD
(J MASTERTON BATTALION ROUTINE ORDERS. CLASS PARADES & OTHER ACTIVITIES. Routine orders for the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard, issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, are:— Classes: N.C.O. class, Tuesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at Municipal Hall. Special coaching class: This class will be held at Municipal Hall on Thursday, ■ May 21, at 7 p.m. > Parades: Signallers will parade on Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at Central School. Petrol Guards will parade Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at Municipal Hall. A patade will also be held of all Petrol Guards at their stations on Sunday, May 17, at 9 a.m. Other centres will adhere to individual arrangements. Parades for range practice: C Company will parade at Municipal Hall at 7.45 a.m. Sunday, May 17; rifle to be carried. Intelligence Platoon (H.Q. Coy) will parade at Opaki Rifle Range at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 17; rifle and lunch to be carried. A Coy will parade at Drill Hall, Sunday, May 17, at 12.30 p.m.; rifle to be carried. Te Ore Ore Platoon (F Company) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range Sunday, May 24, at 8.30 a.m. Ambulance Platoon (H.Q. Coy) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club. Signallers at range on Sunday, May 24, at 9.30 a.m. Wainuioru Platoon (F Coy) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range Sunday, May 24, at 10 p.m.; rifle to be carried. Marched out: H.Q. Coy: A. A. Fantham to E.P.S. D Coy: H. McArthur to Territorial Camp.
