MARTINBOROUGH
COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING OF MEMBERS TODAY ("Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Featherston County Council was hold this morning, there being present Messrs A. B. Martin, R. Smith, J. C. Bidwill. 0. Donald, J. A. McLeod, D. Gillies, L. J. Thompson, R. W. Matthews. The Feathers ton-Lcngwcod . water race committee wrote requesting the council to pass a resolution permitting them to take action against defaulting ratepayers who neglected to clean the water races running through their respective properties. Trie request was granted. The Martinborough Borough Council was granted the use of Hie county grader. " The Moroa water race committee wrote staling that an, offer had been received for the purchase of the Kaiwaiwai cottage and requesting the council to take over the building, The request, was agreed to. 'bhe ranger reported that 220 dogs had been registered this year.
