RADIO SABOTAGE?

«, A French radio station, under Nazi control, on January 1 wished all its listeners “A Happy 191.8!” The announcer' hurriedly corrected this to “A Happy 1942.” After all, a slip of the tongue can happen to anyone. In a broadcast sketch from France one of the characters got the absurd idea that he would like to form a football team in which there would be no goalkeeper. His friend pointed out that the idea was stupid, a team without a “goal.” You can do nothing, he pointed out, if there is “no goal” (pas de goal--de Gaulle!)
