AIR TRAINING

UNIT INI NORTH WALES. VISITED BY DUKE OF KENT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, May 6. Wearing the uniform of an Air Commodore, the Duke of Kent today visited a R.A:F. maintenance unit in North Wales. The visit was informal and the Duke was particularly interested in a group of Polish tradesmen receiving instruction, in an engine shed, from a member of the R.A.F. The Duke chatted with a number of young pilots undergoing elementary flying training and visited many workshops, where he saw Service women, in overalls and battle dress, working side by side with R.A.F. tradesmen.
