EARLY CRASH

PLANE STOLEN BY GERMAN ESCAPEES. FROM CANADIAN AERODROME. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) MONTREAL, May 6. A training plane stolen from Barker Field, Ontario, this morning, crashed soon afterwards; only a quarter of a mile away. Investigating officials believe that two escaped German prisoners of war stole the plane. The escapees are still at large.
