FIELD DAY
YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUBS. GATHERING AT AKURA. A field day was held by district Young Farmers’ Clubs on Mr L. T. Daniell’s property at Akura today. Judging contests and demonstrations were held, the stock used being Southdowns, Romneys, Jerseys and porkers. The judges were:—Southdowns, Mr B. V. Buick; Romneys, Mr G. E. Allen; Jerseys, Mr W. Hall; porkers, Mr L. L. Marsdon (supervisor of the Wellington Pig Council).
