RINKS CHAMPIONSHIP
The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club’s championship rinks competition was commenced last week and the play was of a high standard lor so early in the season. Ihe following fixtures have been arranged for this week: —-Tuesday, 7 p.m., No. 1, Henson v. Dewar; No. 2. Knowles v. Ihaka. 7.30 p.m.. No. 1, Mayes v. Hearps; No. 2. Read v. McFarlane. Wednesday, 7 p.m.. No. 1, McFarlane v. Ihaka: No. 2. vacantt. 8.30 p.m., No. 1, Andrews v. Hearps; No. 2, Henson v. Mayes. Thursday, 7 p.m., No. 1, Knowles v. Read; 8.30 p.m., No. 1, Dewar v. Andrews. No. 2 green is open for challenge games.
