SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENT
PERMITTED FOR TROOPS

SYDNEY, May 2.
In the New South Wales Parliament, the Chief Secretary, Mr Baddeiey, announced that Sunday entertainment for troops and their friends would be permitted between 2.30 and 6 p.m., and between 8.15 and 10.30 p.m. Entertainments, he said, would include motion pictures, dances, concerts, theatrical entertainments, band performances and organised sports of a non-professional character. A committee would recommend the type of entertainment to be permitted.
