CONTEMPT OF SUPREME COURT. AND ONE FOR CONTEMPT OF ARBITRATION COURT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A fine of £lO was imposed in a judgment .of the Full Court today on the printers and publishers of the “Evening Post” for contempt of the Supreme Court in reprinting from the “Standard” a criticism purported to have been made at recent Labour proceedings by the president of the New Zealand Labour Party, Mr James Roberts. The “Standard” was similarly fined and was also fined ,£lO for contempt of the Court of Arbitration. The Full Court said that as there was apparently a prima facie case against Roberts, appropriate action should be taken by the law officers of the Crown.
