MADE BY MANY N.Z. PILOTS AFTER COMPLETING TRAINING IN CANADA. SOME RECENT ARRIVALS IN BRITAIN. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, April 30. Many New Zealanders after completing their training in Canada are flying to Britain. The latest arrivals are Pilot Officers R. E. Stevenson and E. N. Jackson, Invercargill, P. R. Galbraith, Wairoa, M. R. Jeffery, Napier, and A. M. McLeod, Blenheim. All are navigators. Jackson said: “The flight lasted 10 hours, including four hours of darkness and four hours of cloud. We used oxygen most of the way.” Jackson has been posted to a flyingboat.
