CZECHS REVOLT
RATHER THAN FIGHT FOR GERMANY
NAZIS USE MURDEROUS TERRORISM.
EXECUTIONS FOR RIOTING & SABOTAGE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright)
LONDON, April 30.
Czechoslovak circles in London have received information that 7000 Czechs who nominally became Germans under the Munich settlement, and who have been compelled to serve in the German army, have been distributed among a number of divisions because of the realisation of their unwilling* ness to fight. Czechs called to the colours in Silesia rioted and 25 were publicly hanged in one Polish town, and six in another. Also, for treason, three Czech workers were executed -in Berlin for possession of explosives for sabotage purposes. Czech circles in London comment on the charge that it confirms that the workers carry on anti-Nazi activities in new surroundings, thus constituting a real danger to Germany.
