NEW EAST WING
ADDITION TO HISTORIC WHITE HOUSE.
NEEDED FOR OFFICE PURPOSES.

The President’s Secretary, Mr Stephen Early, announced today that an enlarged east wing was being added to the historic White House for office purposes, balancing architecturally the west wing now housing all the Executive offices. The Police and Secret Service will occupy the new east wing.
