CALL UP FOR TERRITORIAL SERVICE FURTHER 17,955 MEN. LIST OF WAIRARAPA NAMES. A ballot issued last night called up 17,955 men under the National Service Emergency Regulations for service with the Territorial Force. The call up consisted chiefly of married men who have children and who have attained the age of 29 years bid have not reached the age of 32 years.

The ballot also includes the names of men who have qualified, since the last ballot, as members of classes' already called up. The names of a number of men who have volunteered for overseas service and of some who are 'already serving in Home Defence units.
