FREE FRANCE
RECOGNITION BY ALLIED GOVERNMENTS. Five new allied governments, at present in London, have established official relations with the French National Committee.The French National Committee have issued the following communique recording the fact: “Following the example of the U.S.S.R., Belgium, Poland and Czechoslovakia, the Governments of Greece, Luxemburg, the .Netherlands, Yugoslavia and Norway have established official relations with the French National Committee and have declared themselves ready to discuss with it all Questions relating to the pursuit of the war and co-operation between the Allies.
“Continuing the gesture of the British Government in the month of June, 1940, the Governments leagued against aggression and tyranny have thus given evidence of their solidarity with the French nation which, having conquered liberty itself, spead it throughout the world. “This mark of friendship will be a powerful encouragement for the French who, within their own country oi’ by the side of the Allies, have neither given up the struggle nor the hope of victory. It will strengthen the unity of the French nation in the face of the enemy.”
