FORMER RESIDENT’S DONATION. The following letter was. received by “John Bull” today:— Coradine Street, Masterton. April 28, 1942. “John Bull” Esq., Masterton. Dear Sir, —I have received a cable from my friend, Mr E. V. Berry, of Los Angeles, asking me to pay to your fund the sum of 100 dollars on his account. I therefore enclose herewith my cheque for £33 6s Bd. Please acknowledge by post to E. V. Berry, 5400 South Alameda Street, Los Angeles. Yours Faithfully, (Signed) R. LAMBERT. Mr Berry was formerly a resident of Eketahuna and Masterton and is now a successful business man in Los Angeles.
