RUSSIAN GAINS
IN LAKE ILMEN AREA. REPORTED BY VICHY RADIO. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) LONDON, April 27. The Vichy radio, quoting a Stockholm report, says that after the occupation of Borok, twenty miles southwest of Novgorod, the entire Lake Ilmen area, except Staraya Russa and Novgorod, is now in Russian hands.
