NEW BRITISH BOMBS
DESCRIBED IN SWISS REPORT. CAPABLE OF WIDESPREAD DESTRUCTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) ZURICH, April 27. A new British incendiary bomb nicknamed bidon (can), is capable of causing widespread destruction to buildings and forests. Dropped by parachute, it drifts over a wide area and is very difficult to extinguish, because of its phosphorous content.
