WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
KAITUNA-FERNRIDGE BRANCH. MONTHLY MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a fair attendance at the monthly meeting of the Kaituna-Fern-ridge Women’s Institute held in the hall recently. Mrs R. Shaw and Mrs Alan Keir were asked to represent the Institute at the Federation Conference to be held in Carterton on May 1.
Mrs Keir Senr., demonstrated the making of papier mache splints, etc. The next monthly meeting will be held at Mrs Laing’s home on May 8. Competition results were as follows:—Mrs R. Shaw, 1; Mrs Keir Senr., 2. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames lorns and Shaw.
