The Soviet spokesman, M. Lozovsky, at a Kuibyshev Press conference, revealed that 1,900,000 reserves recently called up by the Germans included 900,000 in two new classes, comprising youths aged 17 to 18, and also half a million each from vassal countries and from vital German industries. M. Lozovsky declined to give the numbers of Soviet reserves, but said they were sufficient to crush Hitler.
