PLANS FOR PARLIAMENT

SESSION OF TWO OR THREE WEEKS. STATEMENT BY PREMIER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) said today that the coming sitting of Parliament might possibly last for two, or perhaps three weeks. There would be a secret session, when the latest information in respect to the various commands and the war situation would be discussed. There might be legislation, he said, dealing with damage to property from enemy action. Asked ’if there would be an opportunity to discuss the licensing question, Mr Fraser said that was most likely. The session, however, would not be continued longer than was necessary. Mr Fraser added that the next session would be the main session, as far as he could see at present, and it would probably commence in June.
