BRITISH PENSION
AWARDED TO NEW ZEALAND ARTIST. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, April 23. The New Zealand artist, Miss Frances Hodgkins, has been awarded a civil list pension for painting. She is now aged 72 and went to Europe in 1900. The Tate Gallery and Australian and New Zealand galleries were among the purchasers of her oils and water colours.
