COLLECTION OF ERGOT
SUPPLIES MUST BE HANDED IN THIS MONTH. “Ergot will not be redeemable after the end of this month,” said Mr R. H. Brewerton, president of the Merchants Association this morning, in drawing attention to the need of those who had collected ergot to hand it in to a merchant as soon as possible. He added that the response in the Wairarapa had been excellent. Over a hundredweight of ergot had been collected.
