i WOMEN’S INSTITUTE 'MONTHL Y MEETING OF MEMBERS. ("Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Hastwells Women’s Institute was presided over by the president, Mrs K. Ngatuere. The competitions for the month resulted as follows:—Seniors: Best worked feeder, Miss H. Madsen 1, Mrs Madsen 2, Mrs C. Seymour 3. Juniors: Miss E. Dick 1, Miss E. Larsen 2, Miss P. Manihera 3. Three best carrots: Mrs Madsen 1, Miss H. Madsen 2, Miss P. Manihera 3.

A parcel competition was won by Miss O. Halberg. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mrs Morris and Mrs Dick for judging the competitions. The hostesses, Mrs Casely and Miss Casely served afternoon tea.
