SUPPLIES FOR PRISONERS. JAPANESE AGREEMENT AWAITED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 16. The War Minister, Sir James Grigg, told the House of Commons today that the British Red Cross Society had detailed plans to establish a prisoners of war supply service in the Far East. The scheme now awaited Japanese agreement. The Swiss radio announced today that the Japanese Government had accepted the offer of the International Red Cross at Geneva to give news of Allied prisoners of war in Japanese hands and where possible to give news of civilian internees.
