P. & T. DANCE
GATHERING IN. MASONIC HALL. The P. and T. Social Club’s dance held in the Masonic Hall last night, proved a most popular gathering, there being a large attendance of dancers. Barnes’s Orchestra played the music and the proceedings were under the direction of Mr W. L. Butler as M.C. The winners of the novelty dances were: Lucky partner, Miss M. Prescott and Lance Corporal J. Horton; lucky spot, Miss Walker and Private Ramsbottom. The P. and T. ladies’ committee, in charge of Miss Wat ■, and assisted by voluntary helpers, attended to the supper arrangements. The committee handed the proceeds to the St. John Ambulance Association as a mark of appreciation of its assistance.
