TIN HARE RACE SEASON. . FINAL MEETING MAY 2. At a well attended committee meeting of the Wairarapa Coursing Club last evening, presided over by Mr J. Bradbury it was decided to have the final race meeting of the year on May 2, when the Wairarapa championships for flat and hurdle events would be deA full list of other races would also'be contested.

The coursing season at Akura Plumpton would officially open on May 9. There was a possibility that during the season the local club would have control of the premier coursing event of the year, the North Island Coursing Cup. This classic was to have been run at Hastings, but owing to no hares being available there will be no coursing in Hawke’s Bay this year.
