RUGBY SEASON
MASTERTON CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. COMBINED SENIOR TEAM SUGGESTED. The prospects for the coming Rugby season were considered by members of the Masterton Football Club at the annual meeting last night. Mr E. Selby, vice-president, presided. A recommendation was made to the Wairarapa Rugby Union that a senior district team should be formed to play with teams of military units. On account of the dearth of seniox’ players, most of whom were in the forces, it was considered better to form one combined team. The club decided to field third and fourth grade teams.
