REGENT THEATRE

"PUDDIN’ HEAD.” Heading the bill of fare tonight is Judy Canova’s third film, “Puddin’ Head.” The plot of “Puddin’ Head” centres round a broadcasting company’s building which, through the efforts of Raymond Walburn, has been cercted on the company’s own land and twelve inches of the next door neighbour's land—and, of course, the nextdoor neighbour is Judy Canova, who decides to visit the city and take over her inheritance. Several new songs are sung by Judy in her inimitable style, while Eddie Fey undoubtedly has his best and biggest role to date, and given more chances should develop into one of the screen's top-line comedians.
