BIG EXPLOSIONS

OBSERVED AT BENGHAZI. HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL R.A.F. RAID. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY, April fl. A Cairo message says that in addition to the raids mentioned in today’s R.A.F. Middle East communique, it has been announced that on the night of April 7 a highly successful raid was carried out on Benghazi. Big explosions were observed. The Berka landing ground was also raided, but the damage could not be observed owing to low cloud, which likewise prevented an observation of the results of a raid on stores at Derna.
