Isolated showers in ranges; otherwise fair to fine. Temperatures cool, possibility of frost in sheltered positions. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Fair. LOCAL REPORT. Mr N. W .Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today:- — Barograph, 29.95; shade temperature, maximum, 64.8; minimum, 37; terrestrial, 29.9; sunshine, 6 hours 18 minutes; rain, 19 points; frost, .5. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 13 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday and 22 points for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. New moon, April 16. First quarter, April 24. Draw all blinds at 6.30 p.m. today; raise them at 6.15 a.m. tomorrow.
