BIG GRAVING DOCK

CONSTRUCTION IN SOUTH AFRICA. BRITAIN BEARING GREAT PART OF COST. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright; (Received This Day, Noon). CAPETOWN, April 8. The construction is beginning immediately of a £2,000,000 graving dock. Britain is providing all the machinery and caissons and is also contributing £75,000. The dock will not be less than 1,000 feet long and 45 feet deep. The construction is expected to take two years.
